Cleaning

Here at Autohead Performance all cylinder heads are cleaned with a liquid bath -- NOT SANDBLASTED because sandblasting provides the risk of contaminating and clogging the oil and water jackets of the cylinder head! All cylinder heads go through a period of soaking in a bath and then pressure washed to remove all trace of cleaner.  The head then goes to the machine shop for resurfacing and reconditioning so you receive it looking as good as new.
